Student Opportunities Articling Students Co-op Students Summer Students Applications

At Arvay Finlay, we rely on our students to provide us and our clients with high calibre legal work. Accordingly, we are looking for students who have demonstrated an ability to engage in in-depth legal analysis and to apply that analysis to different circumstances.

We encourage applications from students who have demonstrated academic excellence, superior research and communication skills, self-motivation, well-rounded interests and experiences, and a desire to work in the practice areas and environment of Arvay Finlay.

Application packages should include the following:

• resume
• cover letter
• undergraduate and law school transcripts
• references (contact information and/or letters of reference)
• writing sample - if possible, your writing sample should include references to and application of case law

Deadlines

Articling: Arvay Finlay accepts applications for articling positions throughout the year, but no later than the end of June for employment commencing the following May.

Co-op: Please see the UVic Coop Office for application deadlines and requirements.

Summer: Applications for summer positions are due no later than the end of September for employment commencing the following May.
