Gregory Biniowsky recently graduated from UBC Law School and has joined Arvay Finlay as an articling student effective September 2007. Prior to law school, Gregory spent most of his professional life working as a professor of history and global issues at the University of Havana and as a consultant on sustainable development issues for the Canadian International Development Agency and the United Nations Development Program. Based on his experiences working on sustainable development issues in post-Soviet Cuba, Gregory worked with David Suzuki and the CBC to do a special two part Nature of Things documentary on agricultural and social sustainability in Cuba titled 'The Accidental Revolution'. Gregory's legal interests include international and national environmental law, international torts, class actions, social justice and civil liberties.
