Our beloved partner, John L. Finlay passed away on August 13th, 2001. He is greatly missed by all of us at Arvay Finlay and by everyone who knew him. John leaves his wife Karen, and their two children, Elspeth and Evan.

John will not only be remembered as a brilliant trial lawyer but also for his compassion and humanity. John's sense of humour will be greatly missed. He was an inspirational mentor to many law students and passed on his sense of justice to them. John was a devoted family man and a man of great faith.

John's passing has produced a great outpouring of compassion that has helped us through this difficult time.

Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Cycstic Fibrosis Foundation.
